I am delighted to announce that the item below was selected by Cork City Council for the inaugural Cork Culture Award 2019. This bespoke piece was presented to the renowned soprano Cara O’Sullivan earlier this year by the Lord Mayor of Cork Cllr. Mick Finn.

This wood is exceptionally hard and grows in parts of Ireland, and is widespread in western Europe and the Mediterranean region. Just created a beautiful 3 legged stool made from locally sourced Ash with assistance from tutor Mark Donnelly. Course organised by Benchspace Cork as part of Cork Craft month.
